  • De EPC Check is ontwikkeld in 2017 in opdracht van RVO, voor het Europese GuarantEE. GuarantEE was een 3-jarig Europees programma met funding vanuit Horizon 2020. Het betrof een samenwerking van 14 lidstaten. De EPC Check wordt in deze 14 landen gebruikt.
    De tool geeft een indicatie of een EPC in uw situatie een interessante oplossing kan zijn.

    Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) is an energy services model, which has been successfully applied across Europe for modernising buildings and facilities. The EPC service consists of a set of energy conservation measures normally implemented and managed by an energy service company (eg. ESCo).
    The EPC model guarantees energy savings produced by a project. The savings are often sufficient to finance the full cost of the project. This low risk financing mechanism is fast proving to be a promising way to help building owners and users to substantially increase savings and bring project ambitions within reach.
